Teen Reach

The Teen R.E.A.C.H. (Responsibility, Education, Achievement, Caring and Hope) program is a project of Delta Center Inc. and is offered everyday after school into the evening hours. Teen R.E.A.C.H. provides teens with activities that stimulate their interest, coupled with an opportunity to spend time with interested and caring adults.

The core components of Teen R.E.A.C.H. are Academic, Recreation, Mentoring, and Life skills, Parental Involvment, and Service-Learning. Youth will be provided a structured study space and time to complete their homework studies with the assistance of adults and older student peers to serve as tutors for the younger youth. Based upon interest, a variety of clubs will also be available in which the youth can engage. Some of these clubs will include, but are not limited to: arts & crafts, sports, cooking, dance, music, community service, and computers.

The overall philosophy of our project is the belief that teens in general, and particularly teens in at-risk communities, have certain basic needs that directly relate to their ability to become successful. We strive to provide opportunities for growth to increase a youth’s chances of success.
